Description | Ameresco completed a comprehensive energy modernization project at Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) that included installing renewable and energy efficient technologies such as LED lighting retrofits, upgrading rooftop units, replacing heat pumps and heating coils, condenser evaporative cooling upgrades, updating building controls, improving the building envelope, installing high efficiency transformers, and constructing 977.7 kW-DC of solar photovoltaic covered parking. The project aims to save over $141,000 annually in energy costs and improve energy reliability. SENMC entered a 20-year operations and maintenance contract with Ameresco to support long-term energy savings and reliability. |
