Southern Natural Gas South System Expansion 4 Project

The South System Expansion 4 Project is a brownfield expansion by Southern Natural Gas Company and Elba Express Company to increase the capacity of the South Main Line by approximately 1.3 billion cubic feet per day. The project involves adding new pipeline looping and compression capabilities to about 291 miles of existing infrastructure and modifying existing compressor and meter stations to serve customers in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.
