Southern Sun has signed a deal to add its first hotel and residences in the R5 billion Oceans Umhlanga mixed-use development in Durban. The South Tower will feature around 200 hotel rooms alongside 80 serviced residences and is due to be completed in late 2027. Southern Sun is investing an equity stake in the tower and will manage the hotel and residences.
