Europe’s companies need to become more environmentally, socially and economically sustainable, harness digitalization and become more resilient to shocks of all kinds. Europe’s 25 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have suffered particularly during the crisis (COVID-19 pandemic,), with falling revenue and liquidity, borders closed, and supply chains disrupted. As Southinnogate consortium, our main goal is to help European SMEs innovate, grow and scale in the Single Market and beyond to create connections to lead markets, lead customers, finance and innovation partners, and be acknowledged as the global business support network of excellence. To achieve this, the Southinnogate Consortium will provide continued support to increase SMEs’ sustainable growth, digitalization and resilience in the areas of participation in the Single Market, internationalization and innovation. Within the scope of this project, the following objectives will be revealed: • Assisting SMEs, start-up and scale-ups to become more economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable; • Supporting SMEs digitalization and greater resilience to shocks; • Supporting SMEs innovation and innovation processes; • Facilitating SMEs access to the Single Market and third-country markets; • Helping SMEs to cooperate and where appropriate integrate with local, regional, national, and European clusters and industrial ecosystems and global value chains. We will carry out the following four types of activities for achieve our goal: • Activity 1: Provision of value-added services to clients • Activity 2: Promotion of the Network and communication • Activity 3: Network development and capacity building • Activity 4: Network coordination and quality management While these activities being carried out, Southinnogate will provide value-added services that help European SMEs to enhance their competitiveness, sustainability and innovative capacities to grow and do business in Europe and beyond.
