Description | The purpose of the rescEU–AFFF–MSP–ES, as stated in the legislation (Decision (EU) 2019/420 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 March 2019 amending Decision No 1313/2013/EU on a Union Civil Protection Mechanism) is to respond to overwhelming situations as a last resort where existing capacities at national level and those pre-committed by Member States to the European Civil Protection Pool are not, in the circumstances, able to ensure an effective response to wildland firefighting. Spain has committed rescEU transition capacities since the begining of the program (2019-2023). We are applying also this year offering the same capacity: 2 medium amphibious airplanes (CL-215T/CL-415) with more than 12.000 lbs of water capacity each one. |
