Sparc Hydrogen has achieved sustained hydrogen generation under concentrated solar conditions at its pilot plant in Roseworthy, South Australia, marking the completion of commissioning and the start of operational testing. The project uses patented photocatalytic water splitting reactor technology to produce green hydrogen directly from water using sunlight and a photocatalyst. It is a scalable, modular solution requiring limited electricity and is a joint venture between Sparc Technologies, Fortescue Ltd, and the University of Adelaide.
