As stated by the Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN), young people are vulnerable radicalisation phenomena because they struggle with insecurity, identity and belonging. They also live in a complex reality and have access to the internet where it is easy to find “alternative worlds”. Radicalisation is often connected to hate speech and hate narratives, both online and offline, and sometimes it is a result of them. Therefore a great effort should be put in preventive measures focusing on: Helping young people overcoming the taboo of extremism; Challenging aggressive narratives; Making personal relationships stronger than online contacts. A network of European ambassadors with different and intersecting backgrounds educating young people and raising awareness through ETS can be an effective mean to build connections between the online and offline worlds, countering hatred and thus preventing radicalisation. Countering radicalisation and preventing radicalisation are two different measures that act at different stages of the radicalisation process. In this outline, two priorities show up to be especially important to the subject of radicalisation: - Anticipation of and battle against viciousness and intolerance; - Social incorporation in and through sport. Objectives: 1. Raise the awareness on battle against viciousness and intolerance; 2. Promote value of inclusion and countering radicalisation 3. Promote sport as a tool of Non-formal education to achieve social incorporation.
