"We present a diverse Slate of projects in development, representative of our editorial line, blending animation, fiction, and TV series. We aim to authentically portray territories, avoiding clichés, addressing universal themes that resonate with the interests of youth. We strive to give voice to emerging authors with diverse cultural perspectives, reflecting our commitment to producing films with strong subjects. DUCKS is the debut feature film by Neary Hay, a Franco-Cambodian director, co-written with Romy Coccia di Ferro. An epic and initiatory road-movie on the roads of Cambodia. OUZKOURINI is the first animated film by Lebanese filmmaker Michelle Keserwany, renowned for satirical songs and anti-corruption activism. She earned the Golden Bear at the 2023 Berlinale for ""Les Chenilles"". She is also the scriptwriter, joined by Margharita Premuroso, an Italian graphic author. MAMI WATA, Askia Traoré's debut film, co-written with bestselling novelist Caryl Ferey, explores film noir drawing from African deities. The film critiques a society where beliefs serve the elite's power, offering a visually compelling direction inspired by westerns. KONGO, LE ROYAUME DU FLEUVE, a detective series by Congolese author Ori-Huchi Kozia, unfolds between Brazzaville and Kinshasa, featuring investigators from neighboring countries, similar to ""Bron (The Bridge)."" The series explores borders between the two Congos, portraying the energy that drives both states. RIP OFF, the first feature film by Chris Macari, an influential figure in French rap, vividly portrays Martinique's youth amid a struggle between good and evil for survival. The film delves into the nuanced complexity of this reality. We present a program of five fiction projects, featuring authors, women and men, from diverse backgrounds, offering perspectives.
