Splatsin Community Building Improvements

The project will complete improvements that will increase the safety of the community such as no touch fixtures. The project will also refurbish the outside of the building and replace the existing roofing. The community building is not only a gathering place, but also acts as a warming and cooling centre during extreme weather events. The improvements will ensure the building is available for shelter during community emergencies. Project works include: • Generator including pad, transfer switch, and fencing; • Restoration of the outside of the building; • Bathroom improvements including replacing of fixtures to no touch components; • Living Roof Assessment and Necessary Improvement; • Security/Server Management System Upgrade • Atomizing Disinfection Robot; • Air exchange components; • Asset Management Improvement plan; • Interior Building Improvement; and • All related works.
