“SPLOT Values 2.0” is a partnership project for promotion and protection of European values by strengthening grassroots civil society organizations in Poland and strengthening the effective application of the Principles Charter, respect for the rule of law and democracy which are especially important nowadays. Scheduled activities:- capacity building of CSOs at the national level, strengthening a total of 920 organizations- providing finances for the implementation of grants for 220-230 CSOs- increasing the importance of non-governmental organizations in the public debate, both at the national and local level. The effect of the activities will be:- strengthening local CSOs in Poland in terms of their potential and increased ability to have a positive social impact- increased CSOs capacity (for advocacy, monitoring and intervention) and knowledge of national partners and civil society organizations to protect and promote European values and the rule of law- strengthening disadvantaged groups, including people with special needs, repres. minorities, women, seniors etc.- strengthening the partner organizations of the SPLOT Network in the field of innovative tools and methods for the implementation of statutory tasks. We strive to ensure that CSOs effectively influence public policies and build their open and equal character, co-create and monitor law, represent and implement the fundamental values of the EU in social life, being their active ambassadors. The project supports the development of the potential of non-governmental organizations in Poland. The project's sustainability will be ensured by empowered individual leaders, engaged citizens, strengthened CSOs and more active, connected small community organizations working to defend European values. Thanks to the unique network of partners among civil society organizations and capacity building tools, the project will protect democracy through greater civic engagement in the future.
