Description

Description

"The project ""Spolu pre Európu: Plán solidarity, rovnosti a udržateľnosti"" (Together for Europe: A Roadmap for Solidarity, Equality and Sustainability) is a three-day international gathering of citizens from seven partner municipalities and cities coming from 6 European countries, aimed at strengthening European solidarity, gender equality and sustainable development. The main objective of the project is to create a platform for mutual learning and exchange of best practices between participants from different countries. Participants will engage in interactive workshops, discussions and symbolic activities that promote mutual understanding, sharing of experiences and cooperation to address current challenges. The project emphasizes inclusion and non-discrimination, with a particular focus on empowering women, young people and community activists. It ensures equal opportunities for all participants through measures to promote accessibility and gender equality. The short-term impact of the project is to increase the awareness and skills of the participants in the themes of European values, gender equality and sustainable development. In the medium term, it is expected that participants will apply the knowledge gained in their local governments, thus contributing to positive change and strengthening local civic engagement. In the long term, the project lays the foundations for lasting cooperation between the partner municipalities, strengthens their networks and improves their quality of life through the implementation of concrete initiatives. The project thus contributes to deepening European solidarity and cooperation, reduces inequalities between women and men and promotes active citizenship. In addition to mutual learning, it also includes elements of awareness-raising and information dissemination, thus promoting the long-term impact and sustainability of its results across the EU."
