Description | FC Barcelona is expecting to receive the Certificate of Completion of Works (CFO) for the phase of the renovation of the Spotify Camp Nou, which will allow a partial reopening of the stadium to accommodate 27,000 spectators for the La Liga match against Valencia in September. The City Council will process the first occupancy licence after receiving the CFO, permitting the stadium to host fans. Representatives from La Liga and UEFA are scheduled to inspect the progress at the end of August. Montjuic Stadium is the temporary alternative if the reopening is delayed. The stadium must be ready by mid-September for the Champions League group stage match, with a deadline of August 28 to notify UEFA about the situation. |
