Spotswood Level Crossing Removal and New Railway Station Development

The project involves the removal of the Hudsons Road level crossing and the development of a new elevated railway station at Spotswood in Melbourne's inner south-west. It includes the construction of a 513m rail bridge, new separated bike paths along Hall Street connecting to existing cycling corridors, and the installation of a Parkiteer secure bike cage under the elevated station. The existing heritage-listed main station building will be retained and incorporated into the designs. The project aims to improve bike commuting and create community open space under the elevated rail line.
