Spring Hill School Conditional Use Permit Modification

The proposed project requests modification of the existing vested Spring Hill School Conditional Use Permit (Planning Commission Resolution No. 2017-20) to allow the operation of a summer camp for school-aged children consistent with the programs accredited by the American Camping Association and overseen by the California Department of Public Health. The summer camp would be limited to nine consecutive weeks between the months of June and August annually, with registration limited to a maximum of 70 campers supported by seven staff members. Summer camp activities would utilize existing classrooms, playfield, and courtyard/lunch areas. The proposed hours for the camp would be Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, which coincides with the existing school hours of operations. Drop-off (8:30-9:30 AM) and pick-up (4:00-5:30 PM) would occur using the existing on-site, one-way drive aisle, and staff would supervise camper arrivals and departures.
