Description | The Squamish - Mamquam Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade project (the Project) will upgrade the existing wastewater treatment plant in the District Municipality of Squamish. The existing plant is reaching capacity and needs improvements. New facilities and equipment will be added at the treatment plant site to increase service reliability and efficiency to meet regulatory requirements and to provide for future growth. The Project works include: construction of new secondary clarifier and bioreactor; upgrades to primary treatment systems; upgrades to sludge treatment systems; pumps and pumping; and, related civil, mechanical, electrical and control works. |
