Description

This safety project consists of improving the intersection of State Route 155 at County Road 376/Racetrack Road, within the city of McDonough. State Route 155 will be widened 12 feet symmetrically to provide a left-turn and a right-turn lane in both directions and construct curb and gutter and sidewalks from approximately 600 feet north and south of the intersection with Racetrack Road. Racetrack Road would be widened 12 feet symmetrically to provide a left-turn and a right-turn lane in both directions and construct curb and gutter and sidewalks from approximately 400 feet west of State Route 155 to approximately 600 feet east of the intersection. The project will also install a stop-and-go traffic signal at the intersection.
