Description | The intent of this project is to resurface the existing travel lanes and auxiliary lanes on S.R. 155 (Meridian Road) from S.R. 61 (Thomasville Road) to CR 63A (Lakeshore Drive). A 600-foot section of sidewalk will be constructed on the west side of Meridian Road from Pinewood Drive to John Knox Road to improve connectivity. The traffic signals at Tharpe Street, John Knox Road, and Henderson Road will also be upgraded under this project. Additional improvements include upgrading existing curb ramps and pedestrian signals to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access requirements, updating signing and striping, and replacing guardrail, damaged curb and curb inlets. |
