Description | This project proposes the replacement of the SR 16 existing bridge (Bridge ID#: 0077-0007-0) over the CSX Railroad, located in the city limits of Senoia in Coweta County. Traffic will be maintained on the existing alignment and the staged construction will be utilized to construct the new bridge approximately 50 feet south of the current bridge. The proposed project would begin approximately 325 feet west of Clark Street and would end just past the signalized entrance to the Senoia Village Shopping Center. The bridge profile elevation for the new bridge is anticipated to be raised approximately 4 feet, 6 inches higher than the existing bridge due to CSX Railroad clearance and bridge deck support beam depth requirements. The total project length is approximately 0.34 miles. |
