SR 17/SR 115 @ SOQUEE RIVER

This project will replace the existing bridge on SR 17/SR 115 over Soquee River, 0.2 miles west of downtown Clarkesville in Habersham County. The proposed bridge would be 335 feet long and 59.08 feet wide. The bridge width will include two 12-ft lanes in either direction, a 14-ft two way left turn lane and a 10-ft shoulder on the north and an 8-ft shoulder on the south. The western end of the project will have an 8-ft rural shoulder, while the eastern approach will include a 10-ft urban shoulder with curb and gutter. The total length of the project is approximately 0.31 mile.
