Description | This project is a safety intersection improvement in Pike County. The purpose of this project is to improve the safety and operation by realigning the intersection of SR 18/SR 109 and SR 74. Currently, SR 18/SR 109 intersects SR 74 at a skewed "Y" intersection. The project will realign SR 18/SR 109 to create a "T" intersection with SR 74. The project improvements will be on new location and provide continuous east and westbound movement from SR 18/SR 109 to SR 74. The existing typical section has two 12' lanes with 6' shoulders (2' Paved). The typical section will have two 12' lanes; 12' left & right turn lanes; 10' shoulder with 6.5' paved bike shoulders. |
