Description | Currently in the City of East Dublin, SR 199 approaches SR 29 at such an angle that drivers have to turn almost 180 degrees to see vehicles that are approaching from the east. Also, large trucks cannot make the turn from SR 199 to SR 29 East. The purpose of this project is to realign SR 199 along Oakwood Drive to intersect SR 29 at a 90 degree angle. The realignment will provide larger radii and left turn bays to improve safety and traffic flow. Traffic will be maintained on the existing alignments during construction. |
