SR 20 @ CR 30/COWAN RD

This project consists of realigning Cowan Road with Christian Circle at the intersection with S.R. 20. In essence, 2 T-intersections are being reconfigured to form one intersection. This improvement will serve to alleviate congestion and improve safety at this location. !2-ft. left and right turn lanes are proposed at S.R. 20. A 12-ft. left turn lane will be added to Christian Circle. Improvements to S.R. 20 include adding 12-ft. left turn lanes at each approach and a 12-ft. right turn lane at the approach to Cowan Road. Existing Cowan Road will end at a proposed cul-de-sac on the east end and will tie in to the realigned roadway at the west end.
