This project proposes at the intersection of Chatham Parkway the installation of dual protected only northbound left turn lanes and a southbound right turn lane. Additionally, medians are to be installed on the west leg 250 feet in length and on the east leg 1,200 feet in length. At the intersection of Mersy Way, intersection lighting is to be installed with a pedestrian ahead (W11-2) warning sign. The TWLTL on US 17/SR 25 from the railroad bridge to Gamble Road and from Gamble Road to I-516 is to be converted to a raised concrete median with all driveways and intersections within that length converted to right-In right-out. At Gamble Road, the northbound right turn lane and channelizing island are to be realigned and restriped. Two pedestrian hybrid beacons are to be installed, one approximately 1,105 feet west of Westgate Boulevard and one approximately 230 feet west of Westgate Boulevard. Sidewalks and pedestrian lighting are to be installed on both sides of US 17/SR 25
