Description

This project is the addition of a raised grassed median and the installation of curb & gutter along the insid and outside pavement edge on US 319/SR 35 from Magnolia Lane to the R/W of the Georgia Florida Railnet crossing. This project also includes improvements at seven intersections which includes turn lanes and signals at three intersections. The existing typical section is a four lane divided highway with a grassed median. The proposed construction will provide two, 12' lanes in each direction with a raised grassed median and curb & gutter on the inside and outside pavement edges. The typical section will include 4' inside and outside paved shoulders. The proposed construction also provides a longitudinal storm drainage system. The total length of project is 0.73 miles, (3850').
