Description | The US 17 / SR 404 Spur Bridge Major Maintenance Project (the “Project”) includes the replacement of the existing cables, bridge bearings, and joints of the cable stayed bridge as a part of planned maintenance, while shortening the new cables in an effort to change the bridge profile and provide additional vertical clearance under the US 17 / SR 404 Spur Bridge in Chatham County, Georgia. This is GDOT's first CM/GC (Construction Manager/General Contractor) project. The project has four distinct roles: Designer of Record (DOR) - Awarded to Parsons through TSP; Independent Cost Estimator (ICE) - In procurement through TSP; Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) - Future procurement through TSP; CM/GG - In procurement through OAD |
