Description

Description

Project MSL-0005-00(191), consists of aligning Stewart Road and Reese Road to a common intersection with S.R. 54. This will improve traffic flow of the intersection and improve safety on Stewart Road, Reese Road and S.R. 54. In addition, S.R. 54 will be widened to contain four 12-foot lanes: two through lanes, a left turn lane and a right turn lane. Both Stewart Road and Reese Road will be widened in the area of intersection to contain three 12-foot lanes: two through lanes and a right turn lane. The proposed project will widened the ROW for Reese Road to 80 feet and S.R. 54 to 120 feet. The intersection will be signalized, and will have curb & gutter and sidewalks in the vicinity of the intersection to meet ADA requirements. The roadway will then taper back to its existing rural section.
