Description | This project proposes the replacement of the SR 54 existing bridge (Bridge ID#: 0077-0017-0) over the White Oak Creek, located approximately 4.9 miles southwest of the City of Sharpsburg in Coweta County. Traffic will be maintained on the existing alignment while the new bridge is constructed approximately 50 feet west of the existing bridge. The proposed project would begin approximately 1650 feet south of where SR 16 crosses White Oak Creek, and would end approximately 1675 feet north of the creek. The profile elevation for the new bridge is anticipated to be raised approximately 2 feet higher than the existing bridge. The total project length is approximately 0.6 miles. |
