SR-67 Highway Improvements Project

The SR-67 Highway Improvements Project aims to enhance mobility and safety for the traveling public and goods. It focuses on operational improvements, including two-way left-turn lanes, turn pockets, shoulders, slow vehicle turnouts, centerline channelizers/concrete barrier, emergency evacuation capacity, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The project also includes multimodal transportation improvements such as bus stops, bike paths/lanes, and sidewalks/pedestrian bridges. Additionally, it addresses recreational access and movement by adding parking lots, scenic turnouts, and culverts/pedestrian bridges. Wildlife movement is also considered with culverts, bridges, and/or roadway tunnels.
