Description | This project will construct auxiliary lanes on SR 87 in Bibb County. The project will reconstruct SR 87/US 23 from an existing four-lane roadway with a 40-ft depressed median with rural shoulders to a four-lane roadway with a 32-ft raised, concrete median (with curb and gutter and sidewalks) throughout the limits of the project. Auxiliary lanes will be constructed to facilitate the efficient movement of traffic within the interchange area. Weaver Road will be reconstructed from a two-lane roadway with rural shoulders to a four-lane roadway with a 20-ft raised, concrete median with curb and gutter and sidewalks. |
