Description | The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study on State Road (SR) 90/US 41/7th Street SW/8th Street SW (Calle Ocho) from SR 5/US 1/Brickell Avenue to SR 9/27th Avenue SW in the City of Miami. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the existing and future physical, operational, and safety deficiencies along the parallel one-way roads that are 7th Street SW and 8th Street SW including the interchanges with I-95. The proposed improvements will be developed to increase traffic operations, promote safety, provide a multi-modal roadway considering pedestrians, and improve access to the Brickell area. The project limits are along 7th Street SW and 8th Street SW from SR 5/US 1/Brickell Avenue to SR 9/27th Avenue SW. |
