Description | This 2.354-mile project on SR 9/I-95 just north and south of Boynton Beach Boulevard including the on- and off-ramps, and on Boynton Beach Boulevard from Old Boynton Road to NW 3rd Avenue in the City of Boynton Beach, is expected to begin in July 2025. Work includes widening the SR 804/Boynton Beach Blvd. bridge over SR 9/I-95 to accommodate dual left turn lanes, adding additional turn lanes on the on-ramps and off-ramps, adding a third through-lane on westbound SR 804/Boynton Beach Blvd., milling and repaving, constructing bicycle lanes, replacing traffic signal mast arms, installing traffic monitoring cameras and Wrong Way Detection devices, upgrading curb ramps and sidewalks, retrofitting and installing new LED lighting, upgrading signage and pavement markings, and relocating trees and landscaping. |
