SR-9/I-95 at SR-834/Sample Road Interchange Improvements Project

The project improvements consist of constructing dedicated merge lanes for SR-9/I-95 northbound and southbound traffic from SR-834/Sample Road that are physically separated from the SR-9/I-95 general purpose lanes, constructing noise walls, installing signalization mast arms on SR-834/Sample Road at the SR-9/I-95 northbound and southbound off ramps and at the NE 3rd Avenue intersection, updating the lighting and the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) at the SR-9/I-95 and SR-834/Sample Road interchange, roadway and bridge widening, milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, and widening and milling and resurfacing on NE 3rd Avenue from south of NE 35th Court to south of NE 38th Street.
