Description | Beginning in February 2022, Interwest Construction Inc., contractor crews working for WSDOT, will construct a roundabout at the intersection of SR 9 and South Lake Stevens Road to improve safety and mobility. Crews will also improve fish habitat by replacing the existing culvert under South Lake Stevens Road east of SR 9. There will be a creation of a new street, 24th Street Southeast, to be built by Costco. This new street will connect the remaining portion of South Lake Stevens Road to the west side of SR 9, via the new roundabout. The project is expected to be complete by fall. |
