The project will also add two new midblock crossings equipped with pedestrian activated signals known as Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) to alert drivers that a pedestrian is ready to cross. The crossings are planned at Varn Park and south of Westmayer Place. Improved crossings are also planned north of Painters Walk, north of Driftway Terrace and south of Mariners Drive. |
