And Its a Medium Irrigation Project is constructed across Peddavagu Stream, a tributary of Pranahitha River located near Ada village, Asifabad Mandal in Sri KomaramBheem Asifabad district of Telangana state. The Project envisages construction of headworks comprising earthen dam of 1012 m length, Ogee Spillway of 188.00 m to dispose designed discharge of 7391cumec and Left Flank Regulator, Left Main Canal of 65 km length. This project created an irrigation potential of 9915 ha and to cater for providing drinking water to a population of 25,000.
