The ship is currently docked in Mobile, Alabama, undergoing inspection after remediation for environmentally safe deployment. The reef deployment is scheduled for early 2026, approximately 22 nautical miles southwest of Destin East Pass and 32 nautical miles southeast of Pensacola Pass. The project aims to provide marine habitats, support ecosystems, and boost tourism and economic benefits in Northwest Florida. |
