Description

Description

Opportunity  The successful private partner would be responsible for all aspects of design, construction, facility maintenance and life cycle rehabilitation, as well as some soft services such as utilities management, security services, information system and helpdesk. A key part of the project will be the demolition and replacement of the Agnes Cowan Hostel, located in the Health Sciences Centre complex.  The new 94-bed facility would be built on the Health Sciences Centre campus and would be connected to the existing hospital. It will also include a new parking garage on the site to add between 500 parking spaces. The Assistant Deputy Minister of Newfoundland spoke to delegates at CCPPP's P3 2018 conference in Toronto stressing the government is open to private sector innovation on the project.
