St. Leo's Catholic Church is converting the main floor of the former St. Leo's Catholic School building into office space. The project involves remodeling the high-ceiling gymnasium into an upper floor with office and conference space and a lower portion for a new heating and cooling system and storage. The building's facade will also be improved to restore its historic appearance, including replacing windows to match the 1920s design and meet modern energy standards. The project includes demolition of a small adjacent brick building and facade improvements funded partly by a forgivable loan from the city.
