The company started its activity in June 1994. It has the largest network of payphones in St. Petersburg (the company has a local market share of 75%). The company's shareholders are Telecominvest, St. Petersburg Telephone Network, St. Petersburg National and Internaitonal Telephone, Great Nordic Payphones (Denmark), Ascom Nordic (Denmark) and the Investment Fund for Central and Eastern Europe. As of 2000, the company had 1,500 cardphones in the city.
