Construction is expected to last between 12 and 15 years, potentially starting later in 2026. The campus is estimated to create roughly 4,000 jobs overall, including 2,500 full-time positions over the next 20 years with an average annual salary of about $85,000. The development is projected to generate between $2.5 billion and $3.3 billion in local revenue during its first 20 years and pay at least $48.5 million annually in taxes, with revenue split between Danville and Pittsylvania County.
