Description

Stak Energy has proposed a modular data center campus with up to 3GW capacity powered by natural gas in Umiat Meridian, Alaska. The project includes construction, operation, and maintenance of a commercial natural gas-powered energy facility with modular high-performance computing units, on-site natural gas power generation infrastructure, fiber optic communication links, and supporting utilities. The on-site natural gas generation system will provide approximately 1GW of power capacity, supported by newly constructed natural gas pipelines. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2026 with phased development and initial operations expected by late 2028.
