The project includes inter-array cables connecting turbines to substations, offshore export cables to transmit electricity to shore, and onshore underground cables connecting to the grid at the VicGrid connection hub in Giffard. The project aims to supply around 20% of Victoria's electricity needs and create hundreds of jobs while minimizing environmental impacts through extensive studies and mitigation measures. |
