Slate Funding of the Italian production company Staragara I.T. S.r.l. for the years 2024-2026 consists of 2 creative documentaries, 3 feature films and one short animated film and is a response to the company's needs that 3 years after establishment becomes more competitive on the national and international market. The proposed feature films are in different stages of development and come from different genres - thriller, social and family drama, while 2 documentaries are dealing with strong social issues as well through gender rights and inclusion in sports. We have also included a short arthouse animation film. With this slate, we aim to increase the company's visibility in domestic and international markets, strengthen the company presence and empower the animation branch of the company. Besides continuous development and promotion of established authors and young talents, we also follow our mission of gender equality and commitment to green sustainability. Ongoing team training, strategic presence in all major film markets and workshops to strengthen the network of potential partners and funders are some of the activities we aim to achieve with the proposed slate. More than 50 authors, producers, and collaborators of different ages, gender, nationalities, and skills are going to be involved in the process and all of them will benefit from the support in terms of education, creativity, productivity, and career development. We are confident that all projects included will be successfully developed up to the (pre)production phase.
