Description | DTE Energy plans to provide power to the massive Stargate data center campus in Saline Township, Michigan, intended to power OpenAI and Oracle's project. The data center is expected to include 1.4 gigawatts of computing power, more than the power generated by DTE's Fermi 2 nuclear plant. DTE has requested expedited approval of a special contract to supply energy without the usual regulatory process, citing that it will not affect residential energy rates.
