The first phase will have a capacity of 1 gigawatt and will use Nvidia's most advanced AI servers, the Grace Blackwell GB300 systems. The project is a collaboration between UAE state-backed firm G42 and U.S. companies OpenAI, Oracle, Nvidia, Cisco Systems, and Japan's SoftBank Group. The initial 200 megawatts of capacity is expected to go live in 2026, with an estimated 100,000 Nvidia chips deployed in the first phase. |
