The StartUp - Start, run and grow your business project will be developed by a consortium composed by 7 partners from different countries from Italy, France, Portugal, Slovakia, Latvia, Spain and UK. The project lasts 2 years and it aims to enhance entrepreneurship, develop the international outlook and the competitiveness of European SMES and foster start-up entrepreneurs and newly-established micro and small enterprises by creating transnational networks and thus exchange of experience and good practice. The main aim of this project is to facilitate exchange of experiences, learning and networking for new EU entrepreneurs through periods spent at SMEs of experienced entrepreneurs in another country, empowering SMEs from all European countries to become more competitive and to support the growth of their companies internationally. The project will target all the business sectors focusing in particular on the sectors already addressed by the consortium that are: • Social Economic Sector • Research and Development • ICT and Hi-Tech • Training and consulting • Renewable energies. The project team is composed by experts that will carry out the project activities involving 132 entrepreneurs in total (70 NEs and 62 HEs) in successful relationships intra and inter consortia. Specific objectives of the project are: - To provide on-the-job-training for 70 NEs with firm intention to set up a business; - To facilitate successful new start-ups and the consolidation of recent ones; - To support 62 HEs who wants to expand their business or enter other European markets; - To build and support 62 business relationships involving 132 entrepreneurs from different EU countries and from several business sectors; - To promote the EYE programme around Europe and in all partners’ countries; - To enrol at least 240 NEs and HEs as potential participants to be involved in the mobility exchanges; - To create a network of IOs in the countries of the Consortium and beyond.
