STATISTICA CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM PHASE II (SCB II)

This project is an institutional support in the form of technical assistance from the African Development Bank (ADB) to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Tunisia. This project will contribute to the modernization of the Tunisian statistical system in its various institutional dimensions, statistical production and dissemination-communication of statistics. It has the following components: (i) continuation of current activities in Tunisia, including updating or designing effective statistical development strategies, improving national accounts systems, producing statistics on purchasing power parities and the strengthening of statistical training centers; (ii) improvement of social statistics, monitoring and analysis of poverty; (iii) improvement of statistics on priority areas of intervention (development of regional statistics ..); (iv) the development, archiving and dissemination of data, including dissemination on the internet through the creation of a data portal via the INS website.
