Description

The overall purpose is to ensure the provision of high quality and comparable data for the production of ICT statistics. For the data collection on the use of ICT in households and by individuals for the reference year 2026, the primary objective is to collect all non-optional (mandatory) variables—including Core variables—and their corresponding breakdowns, in full compliance with the IESS Regulation and the relevant implementing and delegated acts applicable to the survey year. The sub-modules covered will be: 1.1 – Optional variables 1.4 - Impact of digitalisation on productivity Prior to transmission, the data will undergo validation in accordance with Eurostat’s validation standards, using the data validation tools provided by Eurostat. This process is intended to ensure the completeness and highest possible quality of the data. For the data collection on the usage of ICT and e-commerce in enterprises for survey year 2026 the main objective is to collect all the none-optional (mandatory) variables and breakdowns listed in legal framework for topic ICT usage and e-commerce and transmit them to Eurostat. The sub-modules covered will be: 2.1 – Optional socio-demographic background information 2.3 - Optional variables in the topic on information society participation Before transmission data will be validated using data validation tools provided by Eurostat to achieve that data are complete and with high quality.
