Steel-High War Veterans Memorial Stadium Renovation

Planned

Steel-High is undertaking a three-phase initiative to renovate and remodel the War Veterans Memorial Stadium, which was deemed unplayable. The project includes replacing the field surface and lighting, overhauling the storm management system, constructing a six-lane PIAA-compliant track, demolishing and replacing the 1918 bleacher structure with ADA-accessible grandstands, a new press box, classrooms, a kitchen, and public restrooms. The final phase involves creating a career, education, and wellness center with a fitness studio, nutrition kitchen, and counseling center to support student well-being.
