The project involves redeveloping, revitalizing and expanding Stevenson Memorial Hospital located in Alliston, New Tecumseth, Ontario, Canada.The proposed expansion is an L-shaped structure with a footprint of 5,561 sq.m, situated northeast and northwest of the current building, separated by an 8-meter-wide courtyard. Spanning approximately 146,200 square feet, the design features a wrap-around addition that replaces and expands the hospital’s acute care areas and related support facilities. The redesign of the hospital will feature significant use of natural light, modern features, enhanced parking, and new, refreshed gardens and green spaces. A new, elevated helipad will also be a part of the project.
